Reserving Your Student Accommodation

Once you have found your ideal student accommodation, it is important that you reserve it as quickly as possible. Leaving it until the last minute could find you looking for alternative accommodation.

Students who are already in accommodation and wish to continue living at the same address for the following academic year are advised to reserve their property early, to prevent their property from being let to other students.

To reserve your house, you and your fellow roommates need to complete an online reservation form. You will also be required to provide a security deposit and to fill in our terms and conditions form.

To make signing contracts easier for students who have returned home to the many corners of the UK and abroad, Strats now offer e-signing via DocuSign. This safe and simple solution provides users with fully legal digital documents, and all transactions are carried out under bank-grade security.

Each individual student is required to provide a guarantor in order to pay the rent within our standard installment plan, which runs in line with student loans. If no guarantor is provided, students will need to register with a dedicated service such as Housing Hand, who will act as guarantor. Alternatively, students can provide the full balance of rent in advance.

Contracts are signed and completed on receipt of all guarantor paperwork.

Please talk to our friendly student letting department if you require any further information, or if there is anything you don’t fully understand.

Our team has a wealth of experience in student accommodation and likes nothing more than helping our student tenants secure the home of their choice.
